Automorrow isn’t your average North Texas band, they are a three-piece band with a live show (nominated best of 2010 by Fort Worth Weekly) that takes you on a roller-coaster ride of change-ups, deep grooves, thick harmonies, and intense rock. A self-produced EP, two digital singles, and a healthy stock of music videos make up the stable of quality material this band has produced since it began gigging in April of 2007.
Automorrow’s members came together to start writing music in 2005, an unlikely trio with very different musical backgrounds and taste. Producer Ben Napier, and his longtime friend and drummer Adam Reeves began to jam with guitarist Michael DuFault, from the now defunct North Texas ska band Censored. Born of some late-night jam sessions in a local studio, the first of the then unnamed bands’ songs were written. As other bands and projects came to a close for its members, Automorrow was christened. The band has been picking up momentum ever since, moving beyond many bass players, exploding house parties, and shows throughout Texas and Oklahoma.
Currently, the band is working on their first full-length album, having already released two digital singles in the past 6 months, “Get Your Own Friends” and “Martians”. In addition to the recordings, the band is looking to improve its already acclaimed live show, and continue to bring its performance to other markets, moving into 2011 stronger than ever.
